It's back-to-school season again, Brandi! That probably means that your time will become even more precious…!  So I'll get right to it today. When scrambling to make sure everyone in your family is where they should be on time every time, you may be thinking that you don't have enough time to spend on a cute hairstyle. Well….  Here are 5 of my favorite fast and easy hairstyles that you can rock - and your mini-me, if you have one! Mind Your Ps A ponytail works almost anytime, especially when you're on second-day hair (or older).  You can rock this look with a gently-secured low ponytail. Don't worry if your ends are curled, or add the curl yourself - that adds a touch of glam! The simple stylishness of the pull-back is always a great feminine "mommy-and-me" look to showcase. It's easy to achieve, too: Simply take small sections of hair above the ears and join them at the back of your head. Fasten in place with a snag-free elastic. To double up on the cute factor, matching accessories – like a favorite hair pin or clip – is a must-have!  Rock the Headband Add a splash of color to an outfit with a well-chosen headband. What I love about them is the variety of options, from pearl-beaded and flowery to bows and rhinestones – and everything in between. Make it a hairband day on second-(or more)-day or curly hair by simply sliding on your fave hairband. You also have other options:  Simply slide on your favorite headband. Try sweeping it back completely so the front portion of hair is secured by the band.  You may also place it a couple of inches back from your forehead, leaving the front section of hair free (like the image above), creating a more modern, laid-back style.  Use it to create a side-ponytail or a cute bun! Up or Half-Up Sweep your second-day (or older) hair off the face and out of the way with the half-up French braid. It's quicker and easier than you think! French braid the hair as you normally would until you reach ear level. At this point, stop adding sections of hair and fasten the end of the braid with an elastic, making sure to create a loop of hair on the last wrap of the elastic. Then add a bow or ribbon for a delightful look! For a polished "up" look, try the très chic twist. This is ideal if you have long or thick hair. Here's how: Create a low ponytail, but add a gentle twist: circle it into a loose, messy bun. Play with this look by securing at the nape of the neck or sliding off-center to the left or right. Secure the bun with bobby pins so that it won't unravel.  Add a finishing touch with your fave accessory that polishes up the bun and matches your outfit!
