Another Sunday!

We were supposed to go and have family pictures taken today...well we had to reschedule due to the weather! It is raining, blowing, thunder and lightening! Boone offered that we could take our brooms and look like we just flew in...he is such a brat! Brett and Kami went hunting for elk with Kiara and Boone. They saw a few, but couldn't get a good shot. They saw lots of deer as well. Brandi, Kati and Zack went to Mapleton to go to Grandma Sylvia's 90th birthday. Marlene and Brandi went over to the party. It was fun to see all the cousins. Then we went to a craft boutique and found some fun Halloween decorations. We got some kettle corn for the kids they loved it! Then Brandi, Zack and Kati went to find shirts for the family pictures...we went to like 10 stores and Brandi's feet hurt so bad, from wearing the wrong shoes for shopping. We made it to the car and Kati gave Brandi her bunny slippers to wear. We stopped to get some dinner at Hogi Yogi and Brandi wore the bunny slippers into the restaurant and the kids got a real laugh out of that. Now we are watching conference...such an uplifting and wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Getting to spend the weekend listening to our prophet and apostles is such a special and spiritually uplifting experience! I love to listen to them all, especially President Monsen...he is such a neat man, and after hearing him speak at Austin's funeral this summer, I have an even stronger testimony of his humble power and testimony. Wow, we are so lucky to live in this time and have such powerful, amazing leaders!
